过氧化二异丙苯，简称DCP, 是二烷基过氧化物，分子式 C18H22O2，分子 量 270.4。不溶于水，溶于乙醇、乙醚、苯等。理论活性氧含量是 5.92%。 DCP广泛用于电线电缆聚乙烯交联剂，EVA 鞋材交联剂，EPS 引发剂，天然橡胶和合成橡胶硫化剂，不饱和聚酯固化剂等。

DCP is a monofunctional peroxide which is used for the crosslinking of natural and synthetic rubbers, as well as thermoplastic polyolefins. Rubber compounds containing DCP have good processing safety with a moderate rate of cure. Safe processing temperature (rheometer t₅₂>20 mins):130℃.

DCP 是易制爆危险化学品，储存温度在 30℃以下，贮存在阴凉、干燥、通风的 仓库。远离热源、明火。严禁与酸类、还原剂、还原剂、自燃物品等混合存放。严禁与酸类、易燃物、有机物、还原剂、自燃物品、遇湿易燃物品等混运,避免日光、热源和明火。轻装轻卸，避免撞击、碰撞等。

Due to the relatively unstable nature of organic peroxides a loss of quality can be detected over a period of time. To minimize the loss of quality. Harmony Chem Enterprise Limited recommends a maximum storage temperature (T max) for each organic peroxide product.

For DCP     Ts max. = 30℃ (86℉)

When stored under the recommended storage conditions, DCP will remain within the specifications for a period of at least 12 months after delivery.

Organic peroxides are thermally unstable substance, which may undergo self-accelerating decomposition. The lowest temperature at which self-accelerating decomposition of a substance in the original packaging may occur is the Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (SADT). The SADT is determined on the basis of the Heat Accumulation Storage Test.
